The app speaks your language.
No jargon from someone else's trade here: in your account, each piece of work is a Service.
Types of work already set up in the catalogue:
What only turns up once the van is already there.
«You said €480 over the phone. On the day there was a piano, a fourth floor with no lift, and the van had to make two trips.»
The enquiry arrives with the property size, the floor, the lift and the route, and the quote is dictated out loud on the landing, with what your eyes are actually seeing.
«That Saturday's crew was two casuals and a cousin. When the client complained about the scratched cabinet, nobody knew who had carried what.»
Each person comes in by link, clocks in and photographs the state of things before loading them. No app to install and no cost per person.
«Tolls, diesel and three hours waiting outside the building. None of it was in the price.»
Costs are logged against the job on the day itself, tied to the work where they happened. At the end of each move you know what was left over.
«The IMT licence expired. You realised when a corporate client asked for it, and the job went to someone else.»
The IMT documents hold their expiry dates and the warning goes out thirty days ahead. They stay attached, ready to send to whoever asks for them.
A piano to the fourth floor isn't an extra. It's a different quote.
You add the line and the client approves it on the phone, with a signature and a record of who approved it and when — before the van leaves the garage.
A full van isn't the same thing as a profitable day.
The move is quoted on the landing and paid for at the end of the day. Between the two there's fuel, tolls, packing, the lift that turned out not to work and the crew who stayed an extra two hours. None of that was in the price, and all of it came out of your side.
What an hour of van actually costs you
Kwote takes the last six months — van, insurance, phone, accountancy and the day rates paid — and divides them by the days worked, at eight hours a day. Out comes the real cost of an hour, and how much of it is pure overhead riding along with you.
The price below which it isn't worth it
With the hourly cost known, the catalogue judges each of your prices: a loss, a thin margin below fifteen per cent, or fine. You stop quoting by comparison with the last move, which could just as easily have been wrong.
Profitability by type of service
Finished moves with costs logged against them are grouped by type — two-bed in town, office, storage. Each type shows what it invoiced, what it spent and the margin: green above twenty-five per cent, red below ten, and a warning if the worst is below fifteen.
Costs logged on the day, not at the end of the month
The fuel, the toll and the boxes are recorded on the phone while the move is happening, with a photo of the receipt. Without signal too: they sit in a local queue and upload by themselves when the connection returns, each with its own key so nothing appears twice.
From the agreed price to what's left over.
Example figures. Each cost is logged against the job on the day itself, with the supplier that generated it — including the three hours waiting outside the building, if there were any.

Carrying goods on someone else's behalf in Portugal requires a licence and a certificate of professional competence, both from the IMT, both with expiry dates. Anyone carrying dangerous goods also needs ADR. And goods in transit insurance is the document nobody remembers until the day a box falls.
You pick removals & transport at sign-up and Kwote brings this list ready-made, with the authority and what expires:
- IMTGoods transport licenceBlocks the startLapses and renews
- IMTCertificate of professional competenceLapses and renews
- IMTADR certificate (dangerous goods)Lapses and renews
- InsurerGoods in transit insuranceBlocks the startLapses and renews
- ATTransport note or accompanying document
Four of these five expire, and that's where the real risk lies: it isn't not having them, it's having them expired without knowing. Kwote warns you when an approved document is within thirty days of expiring and when a worker's certificate lapses — including a driver's ADR, which is individual and not the company's. You add whatever you like to the list and decide, document by document, whether only management sees it, the crew, or the client too.
What changes between the visit and the invoice.
- A quote dictated at the visitYou dictate what you saw on the landing and the draft builds itself from your catalogue lines and your prices. You send it before leaving the building, while the client is still at the door.
- The enquiry arrives with the property size and the routeYour public page asks for the type of service, the property size — from studio to four-bed, or just a few items — and from where to where. The enquiry lands in the pipeline with real details, ready to quote.
- IMT documents that expireLicence, professional competence, ADR and goods insurance, each with its own expiry date. Kwote warns you thirty days ahead, including each driver's individual certificates.
- The crew by link, with no licencesDifferent helpers on different days. Each one clocks in and photographs the loading through their phone's browser. No accounts to create and no paying per person.

Questions from people who live on the road.
I have ADR and professional competence. Does Kwote warn me when they expire?
It does. You record each document's expiry date and Kwote alerts you when there are fewer than thirty days left. The ADR and the training certificates can be tied to each worker, because they're individual — the alert is about the person, not about the company.
Do the loading photos count as proof for me?
They serve as a record. Each photo is tied to the job, with its date and who took it, and you decide which ones the client sees in their portal. It isn't a formal survey, but it's a great deal better than the memories of two people disagreeing three weeks later.
I do removals and also keep goods in storage. Does it all fit?
It does. Storage is one of the ready-made service types, and since it's charged repeatedly it can sit as recurring work, with the value normalised to a month so it adds to the rest of what you have guaranteed.
Can I try it without paying anything?
You can. The Free plan asks for no card, is free forever and gives five quotes a month, with the enquiry pipeline, the diary, the catalogue and the public page included.
